Cafe Reo 1/144 - A-7 CORSAIR II 「 VA-105 "Gnuslingers" 」 と 「 VA-93 "Ravens 1983" 」 two kit edition? . interesting PLATZ are also releasing a version of this!?
I think Platz will not release the same mold.. But I wrote a e-mail to Platz with a sugestion.. why they don´t release the same A-4,A-7 family in 1/144 like fujimi did in 1/72... I ´m sure these 2 planes are very popular and have so colorfull variants . with same wing and main fuselage only changing nose, canopy and vertical tail they could release from the A-4B/C, to A-4E/F and A-4M/KU so we could have from Vietnã,Falklands/Malvinas,to Agressors and Marines,Aussies,to Kiwis...so many nice versions... But I don´t have answer to this e-mail..
Yes ,Platz did the F-8D Crusader..is a nice kit and they will make a F-8E box later...maybe with Marines version and french navy,.. But A-7,A-4 family have much more space to grown.. and they could do the same with Mig-21 too..from Vietnã,to israeli-arab wars to Russian and Afganistan colors..
I thinked the Platz next release was the F6Hellcat..and later the Zero 52 and P-47D ..but in this post you can see the P-47D now !!! http://www.platz-hobby.com/event/07shs.html
hello and welcome. The problem you have is that this kit was a limted edition release. Cafe Reo usually produces these "white box" kits primarily for selling at the Shizouka Hobby shows held twice a year. Typically at one or other of these shows they may bring special limted edition kits.
one time they bought a specual edition painted and assmebled "sky raider" more recently they bought along He-111 kits but with special decals.
another time they did F4, F-8 7 A6 kits,
this is not an complete list, but I hope it illustrates the situation?
I think the A-7 is quite rare, I havent seen many of these at auction or via other means.
I am sorry i can not be more helpful on this particular matter. Maybe one of the other regulars here could help?
thanks for your help, i am aware of the new FE RESIN A-7, and it seems to be an honest representation of the A-7d. it's a shame that the CAFE REO A-7 is a limited release isue because it looks like an nice little kit.
