Yes,I wrote a e-mail to platz some months ago(when they released their F-8) and ask why they don´t make in 1/144 the same Fujimi did in 1/72..Releasing a Family of A-4 ,A-7 and Mig-21 With same wings, central fuselage, changing the noses, canopy and tail you could have from A-4B/C/Q/P(of Vietnã war and Falkland/malvinas), to A-4E/F/H(from Vietnã,Agressors,Israeli,Aussie) and A-4M/K/ OA-4M (Marines,Kuwait and now Brazil) you can imagine if this could be sell ? Or the A-7 A/B Vietnã, changing nose near intake.. A-7E(desert storm) and add a refuel spot on wing the A-7D(vietnã,Portugal,Greece)... Again..so many colorfull versions.. giving oportunity to many reboxes(with several decals)... is hard to believe they not want make money...
I wish this one be a classic injected kit(like F-8) and not a trading toy unpainted(like the F-2,T-2,F-1)....
ReplyDeleteAgreed... injection molded is the preferred way! imagine all the US Navy Aggressors I could do with these!
