The best website 1/144 you have never heard off!

Créations Chaubet

.
Maquettes d'avions au 1/144e en white métal
(1/144 Aircraft Models in White Metal!)
.
A fantastic range of aircraft, either in kit form or ready assmebled!
A wide period covered, although specialising in French Protoypes of the 1950s-1960!
Many of these will be unkown those expect the real "x-planes" or French aviation aficionado.
Note: I Think these should be treated in a similar fashion to resin kist, and some skill maybe required to reproduce similar effects!! (or bite the bullet and purchase and assembled and painted model!?)
.
the futuristic looking aircraft (leduc 022) at the top is actually from 1956!!!
.
.
c'est bon, tres bon!
.
.
also note, that F-RSIN are to produce a combination SE-161 "Languedoc" + Leduc 010 as resin kit in the near future, as was displayed at the IMPS UK 2007 show at Telford,UK.
based upon the following carrier

  1. I've got most of his line that I can't get in resin, and luckily before the dollar hit the crapper.

You won't be disappointed. They all come with decals as well.

  2. I have been really tempted to buy a number of the prototypes from the 50's

  3. You really won't be disappointed. Are you in the UK bluedonkey99? If so with the strong pound the prices are reasonable. Here is the US, it's become very expensive.

But his stuff is very nice.....

  5. My collection is way out of control as well! I've recently thinned it out some but still have over 1800 kits and 200 sheets of decals in 1/144 scale! I keep telling myself it's for when I retire (I'm only 34 now) but by that time they will be too small for me to build! *LOL*

I can take some pictures of his stuff if you want but it will be no different than what he shows on his website as sadly none of my stuff is painted. :o(

AFAIK he makes all of his stuff as ordered so nothing is really ever OOP. He's got a couple more that I want to pick up but with Anigrand making kits every month it's hard....
