Rather unfortunate - but fairly predictable - that the corrugations on the Ju52 have been represented by decals. Predictable, too, that the Eduard versions are far superior in all respects.
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, the biggest plus in the Altaya/IXO series is obviously not replicating other manufacturers' items (e.g. B-17G's, Lancs, He111's, etc.) but in the previously unavailable items like the Z1007bis, the Piaggio P.108 and Ju290. And, according to both Altaya sites (.es and .fr), the next item will be the giant Bv222 Wiking. Wait for that to do some good business on eBay.
Yeah, on the strength of those photos I wouldn't be after any IXO subject that exists as a kit!!!!
