  2. This excites me -
Takara Tomy working on 1/144 scale JASDF Aggressor Eagles for their new "GiMix" line.

  3. Hi

do you know the meaning behind the "GiMix" line?

also, not noticed bymost, in the back of the f-toys store, behind and to the side of the starwrs there appears to be more bi-planes?

    thx

  4. I think the "GiMix" line is exactly that. It's going to have "gimmicks". For the Aggressor Eagles, it looks like you can buy a separately sold engine part that you can insert to make it light up in (I guess) afterburner mode.

  5. i thought i saw those light kits on the ned of the table, it looked like the sets for the Takara luftwaffe series!

maybe there will be some propellers again,

maybe we can have a mini sound unit!!?

  6. How lucky are the Japanese? Every time I see photos from their model conventions, I salivate! The shots of some of the Anigrand items are intriguing. For instance, check out the size differential between a He177 and the Nakajima G10N1 Fugaku.

And just on Anigrand, I see that the next two 1/144 scale entries will be the Martin XB-16 and the Douglas C-47 Globemaster. An extra with the latter is the Flying Pancake which Takara released in their "Amazing Weapons" series way back. From what i can gather, the Takara item scaled out around 1/200, so the Anigrand item will be welcomed.

  7. Anyone know of a source to buy Dameya items? For some reason I thought Platz was going to sell the He177, but that was probably wishful thinking. Damyea has a pretty nice line of armor kits, which I've been eyeing for quite some time.
