  1. WOW,
    What a collection. great pictures.
    Now where to start?
Page 2 has some lovely tanks by 'Mirage Dream' who I have never heard of. maybe our friend Radsan or Eric's friend can look at getting some to pass on?
Page 5 has a helicopter (? Flettner) by 'Dameya'. I toyed with the idea of doing some of the German WW2 early helicopters in resin but too much strut work!!
Page 8 has a lovely PE catapault by 'Keyboys' that would also be great to have.
Page 9 has another catapault this time it looks injected?
Page 12 has a Lysander and a group shot with a 4 engined ?Mavis and a website (on placard) that is not quite readable!
    Page 22 has a lovely night fighter version of a Bf-110 and a 219.

  2. PBH

    yes, its a helicoptor.

I featured the prototype of this kit on this blog a while back.

maybe we need to get Mr Lakespeed on the job? The damiya site lists 2 helicoptors, its not clear as to if they are only available at shows or can be ordered via mail order in japan?

  4. Definitely a lot to whet the appetite. Like Peter, I noted the Lysander. Does anyone know who produces it or is it a scratchbuild?

And, yet again, we see Anigrand selling some of the "extras" as separate items at 1500 yen apiece. As it seems that Anigrand only do this at Japanese conventions, you can bet that someone buys a pile of them and places them on evilBay. Not doubt Radsan will be a frontrunner, and we haven't heard from Chikara (StarJet) for nigh on a year.

  5. The Anigrand stuff was listed yesterday (Or at least I noted it y/day with radsan).
I also checked the Anigrand site and they don't have any 1/144 mystery packages listed but do have some 1/72 ones (I think)

  6. Radsan already has some on evilbay!

i think i have seen the lysander as a resin kit... maybe KDK but i think its a guy we dont know to well!

apparently the bachmann miniplane is 1/160....

  8. I don´t remember well but there was a Lysander from chocotoys(I forgot the name of serie)..but was smaller than 1/144..
Well it could be another poll to a new small serie the liason utilitarian planes/gliders ...Wtm bring a Storch... but we could have more as the Lysander, piper L-4,Stinson L-5,Norseman ,Siebel,as well gliders as Waco,Horsa,dfs230,go242
Even if these itens are not came as series itself they could came as special itens... I believe is much more interessant than a special color or special marking iten

  9. And when I defend the trading toys makers to release planes like Lysander or Piper L-4,and the other itens of poll lists is because there are trading toys of Sushi, trains, bikinis, insects, animals, old cars,guitars....so they can easyly make more planes..and catch aviation fans...but one thing is important...the scale... the more itens in same scale...more exciting to expand the collection
And big injected kit makers will not release these less famous planes...and will stay with F-18,F-14...
So the trading toys are a cheap and easy to buy comparing to garage resin kits....
F-toys and cafereo are doing a good job... to bad we lost Takara (FAOW) the quality of their itens was superb... ,popy with so interessanting luft46 planes ,and Bandai with nice things like the Yak-9,Il-2,P-38...
When I check the wonderfull rebuilds in Project 144 events I just would like if the trading toys use a easy to remove paint or release unbuilded and unpainted (and with decals)itens like platz (F-2,T-2) and Sweet Sea kings....

  10. maybe we do need a "interesting" series of planes!?

  11. Yes,f-toys did the Early jets, and beside the excess of Me-262s... they came with Meteor,He-162,mig-15....If they put less me-262s I think the sales could be greater...but I think is a good start..
They did the very nice Star wars series...and I believe this one is a sucesss...(someone could tell about sales of this series?)
When choose a good theme ,a good variety in itens there a good chance of sales....
I tell a good variety...why? look the Cafereo navy/marines freak... they came with 10 versions of F-18, why?.. it could be so nice if they came with more S-3,A-4Ms,and why not diferent planes as Super Etandart(a Navy plane), T-45,Sea Vixen..I could buy 2 boxsets ..but with 10 F-18s I probably will choose snipe 1 or 2 S-3 and A-4 in auctions..
Even the Early jets have the problem with to much me-262s..they could have only with the B models since the A model was released before by Bandai and Takara...
Talking in Bandai... here we told before about the mistake of have so many Zeros and me-109F... it could turn the boxset not exciting to the buyers.. and I believe this happened with Wing club series..
