1/144 Mig-21 MF "E-Day Special- Eduard.cz

Everyone visiting the forthcoming E-Day Show on the !st of October 2011 will receive a free gift of this new Eduard kit of the Mig-21 MF in 1/144!.  (I have a suspicion it might also  be a free gift in the new Eduard 1/48 Mig-21 MF)

It will then also be available in November(2011) as a ProfiPACK or new " Super44" series Dual Combo kit (cat.no.4425)

Over #58 Sprue and build photos are available at http://modelweb.modelforum.cz/

The detailing looks nice, and if the "Super44" series = "a 1/144 Series" then it could be an interesting time next year for a range of new Eduard Quality kits?

  2. Looks good. A lot more in-scale than some of their earlier efforts.
Canopy looks like a resin piece that has been handled while its still green.

  3. Wait - so I have to buy a 1/48th model in order to get a 1/144th kit? Thanks but I think I will stick to the excellent MiG-21 series from Attack Hobby Kits (http://attack-hobby-kits.cz/). I might try to pick up one from Eduards through Ebay though, depending on the price ...

  4. Hi

I think you need to read what I wrote.

The 1/144 kit will be available in November as a kit in it's own right.

The observation I made (in italics) was that Eduardo have history of bundling items in thier larger kits, therefore as they are releasing a 1/48 scale version of this kit it might Be included.

An example of this was the bf-110 kit which included a 1/4 scale dashboard, which subsequently was issued as a separate kit. Previously, they have also bundled other such kits.
