Take a look at this, one of the major gaps in the 1/144 with regard to British and Commonwealth airforces! A nice twin engined Beaufighter, this MK X / TFX is a sight for sore eyes!

.

This master has to be one of the nicest looking items we have seen for a while (maybe they can make a spitfire in this quality next?)

.

This is expected to go into production shortly with options for "clear canopies"

.

TO be released by Peters Planes in the new "Gold Series" (this will be more exspensive than the current range, but well worth the extra!)

.

Panzer Depot have released a new product range of the Sdsfx 250/1

.

And they are great, the 3 colour version is particular nice to look at nice tones, blended well.

The detail on these is really nice, they remind me a lot of the Popy sdkfz bonus kits, these item also have a nice interior. They even have the tow hooks and MGs!

.

Definitely worth adding to your collection - i bought all 3x types!

Altaya have relased a number of seaplanes over recent weeks and these are becoming more widely available on ebay etc.

I think the Z.506 looks pretty mean in that dark grey, the Coronado has to be the ugliest looking plane for sometime!

CGD have been testing production of 1/144 objects via the new method of 3D Printing as provided by Shapeways. As a result of this CGD have produced an small but growing range of items to test the market.

.

I think the concept behind shapeways is great, this future implications of this method growing is great for modellers, no more will you have to ger resin production methods, you can buy or design the item you want in 3d (subject to technical considerations) and then print the item you want!

.

This may not seem exciting now, but consider the modern pc and technology compared to the ZX-81 i started out in computing with in 1982!
