1/144 Focke-Wulf Ta 152H 'Special Schemes' - MARK I Models

1/144 Focke-Wulf Ta 152H 'Special Schemes' - MARK I Models

The Ta 152H was one of the ultimate and finest German fighters of WWII, primarily designed for high-altitude operations. Its development began in the summer of 1943 with an aim to supersede the Fw 190D-9. It was a single-seat monoplane of an all-metal structure, featuring an enclosed pressurised canopy and a retractable landing gear. It was powered by a Jumo 213E in-line piston engine and its armament comprised three cannons. The prototype, designated the Fw 190V33/U1, flew in July 1944, while a number of other converted Fw 190s were used as test beds, including the Fw 190V30/U1. The Ta 152 series production began in late 1944 and eventually, only some 43 machines were built, including 20 pre-production H-0 aircraft and a batch of the first series Ta 152H-1s.

The first Ta 152s entered service with the Luftwaffe in January 1945 and although being capable interceptors, they came too late to be used in their role and to make a significant impact on the air war over Europe. In April 1945, Japan purchased the blueprints of the Ta 152 and reportedly one aircraft, although this did not lead to any production in Japan.

A number of Ta 152Hs fell into Allied hands and some of them were examined in Britain and the USA post-war.

1/144 FW-190 A-8/A-9
MKM14421   Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8/A-9 (2in1 = 2 kits in 1 box)
(Luftwaffe)

The Focke-Wulf Fw 190, designed in 1938, was a versatile German single-seat aeroplane which became the backbone of the Luftwaffe’ fighter force during WWII. Except its main role as a day fighter (A-series) it was also used as a fighter-bomber and ground-attack aircraft (F models). It was an all-metal monoplane powered by a BMW 801 radial engine.

The Fw 190A-8 was the most numerously built variant, which production reached nearly 1400 machines. The A-9 was the last A-model produced and was fitted with a more powerful engine and a bubble canopy.
Tha armament remained similar to that fitted to the previous variants, i.e., two fuselage machine guns and four cannons in the wing roots and outer wings, while a drop tank could also be fitted beneath the fuselage.

Both variants took part in the final stages of air war over Germany, hopelessly defending the remnants of the Third Reich

Colour schemes included in the kit:
1)   Fw 190A-8, Red 1, Hans Dortenmann, 2./JG 54, Luftwaffe, Vélizy-Villacoublay Air Base, France, June 1944
2)   Fw 190A-8, Blue 17, IV./JG 54, Luftwaffe, Berlin area, Germany, May 1945
3)   Fw 190A-8, Red 11, Dieter Göthel, 10./JG 301, Luftwaffe, Dresden-Heller Air Base, Germany, January 1945
4)   Fw 190A-9, Yellow 5, 3./JG 5, Luftwaffe, Germany, spring 1945

This injection-moulded kit contains 14 parts, 1 clear part (the cockpit canopy) and 1 resin part (the cockpit interior). A comprehensive instruction leaflet and a decal sheet are included.

Available for Pre-order at http://www.kits-shop.com/index.php  (run by Miniwing) and free worldwide shipping (November 2013)

The Focke-Wulf Fw 190, designed in 1938, was a versatile German single-seat aeroplane which became the backbone of the Luftwaffe’ fighter force during WWII. Compared to its Fw 190A-8 counterpart, the F-8 model had a reduced wing armament, consisting of only two wing root-mounted cannons. Centreline fuselage and underwing racks enabled bombs to be carried.
At least 3,400 aircraft of this type was built and many modifications, using special pre-packaged or field kits, existed to fulfil various roles.

Colour schemes included in the kit:

1/144 Bf-109 and FW-190s from MARK I Models

1/144 Bf-109 and FW-190s from MARK I Models

There are two kits with decals in each box so two complete models can be made.
These were originally Eduard kits that have now been improved with resin cockpits and Mark I decals.

The decals are nice, though the kits are quite basic by modern standards. I am not sure when they were released but there are reviews from 2000, they actually seem to have a passing resemblance to the standard of the  recent Zvesda war gaming kits as they do not have cockpit cavities...

1.144 Me1101 & Focke-Wulf FW Ta 183 - Valom.cz

„What if“ Messerschmitt Me1101 & Focke-Wulf FW Ta 183 - by Valom.cz

Valom kit No. 14401 Messerschmitt Me 1101 and Focke-Wulf Ta 183
Box contain four kits(?) with four markings covering Luftwaffe and IJA schemes.

http://modelingmadness.com/industrynews/valom/valom.htm

http://www.valom.net/index_en.html

Interestingly, as has been noted by others this would appear to be a repackaging of the Jach.cz kits. See my previous report http://kampfgruppe144.blogspot.com/2009/08/1144-luft46-by-jachcz.html

The Jach kits were plastic injected kits, clear plastic canopies, photo etched radars & decals.

The price is unspecified, but maybe be a little more than the Jach released kits?
Available: Soon

144Shop still has the Jach version of these kits available.
