It appears that U-STAR are to extend their range of recently introduced kits, there some interesting looking items on those displays!

While many are available in various materials from differing suppliers cheap access to plastic paper panzers will be welcomed and hated in equal measure by many  (including the original tweeter) .

We’re excited to announce the we have set up a new company called VICTRIX GAMES.

This is a subsidiary company of Victrix Limited and will be focused on bringing you fully functional gaming systems as well as high quality vehicles and figures to use in these games.

Our first launch is a 12mm World War II Gaming System. We have chosen 12mm as it allows gaming on a 1:1 scale for all vehicles and figures. By ensuring that 1 vehicle/figure represents 1 vehicle/figure in real, life, it gives the game a more authentic feel, with the attritional nature of war being ever present in the gamers' mind. 12mm allows for realistic scale actions even on a small 6ft by 4ft gaming table without the battle looking overcrowded and unrealistic. You decide how big or small you want the game to be. Our figures will also be compatible with most 10mm ranges.

This first theatre will be based on Normandy 1944. It includes separate British, German and American forces. The game is predominantly a tank and infantry-based system but will also include rules for ground attack aircraft. Other theatres currently being developed include North Africa and the Eastern Front.

The system is based around a set of core rules which is scheduled to be released in late 2020. However, for those already keen to get their hands on VICTRIX GAMES’ products, you’ll be glad to hear that in the meantime we will be releasing several vehicle and figure sets based on the Normandy 1944 theatre. You can expect these to be available in early 2020.

Reissued, with injected plastic kit with vacform and clear canopies. Silk Screen decals for the Blue Angeles and VFA-192 Golden Dragons - aircraft 209 as seen in the movie Bridge at TOKO-Ri.

The Grumman F9F Panther was the manufacturer's first jet fighter and one of the United States Navy's first successful carrier-based jet fighters. A single-engined, straight-winged day fighter, it was fitted with an armament of four 20 mm (0.79 in) cannons and could carry a wide assortment of air-to-ground munitions.

The Panther was used extensively by the U.S. Navy and the United States Marine Corps in the Korean War. It was also the first jet aircraft used by the Blue Angels flight team, being used by them from 1949 through to late 1954. The aircraft was exported to Argentina and was the first jet used by the Argentine Naval Aviation.

These ALPS style printed decals rival the old I-94 decals and should provide a welcome addition to either you Panzer Depot or perhaps your new Pegasus items?  The prices is fair, as I have certainly seem companies charging a lot for more the alps printer Aircraft decals! Being film printed, you may want put a coat or two of varnish over the top before cutting and removing from the backing sheet.

This conversion set contains 13 parts. The set is designed for converting Takara/Dragon Panthers to Berge Panthers Ausf A or Ausf G. The conversion features a movable anchoring spade; one pulley with hook; one winch cable guide; a set of four cable arrangements to assemble the vehicle in traveling mode, 40 ton extraction mode and 80 ton extraction mode; bumpers and dummy cable connectors. (Modellers might need to remove parts from the chassis to make way for the conversion kit.)

This is good news and bad news.

The good news is that someone is attempting to produce 1/144 armour again,
The bad news is that we have all seen these items before, and currently the paint work looks a little "early prototype"

However, if this gets the next generation of Japanese collector interested? Then maybe there could be more??
