Well, its not everyday we get new AFV in 1/144, and here we have the latest, this item will be presented by Pit-Road in a completed and painted format.

Manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries the Type-10 is the latest 4th Generation MBT   to enter service with the JGSDF as of January 2012.

This month sees a number of releases joining PDs stable. The M10 probably wont exicte too many people, interest in the H-35/H-38 should be greater as smaller and unusual tanks not widely available tend to generate more of a stir with the gamers!?

1/144 T-26 Soviet Light Tank - CGD
The T-26 was developed in the 1930s by the Soviet based on the British Vickers and served in conflicts since, including the Spanish Civil War and WWII. More than 11000 vehicles were produced, more than any other tank in the period. The Soviet developed 53 variants in which 23 were mass produced. The vehicle was continuously modernized from 1931 to 1941, but no new models were introduced after 1940. Captured vehicles were also used by the Germans.

1/144 Tank Depot 10x Figure Set - CGD

1/144 Tank Depot 10x Figure Set (Unpainted)- by CGD

A number of factors have led to CGD to release an interesting set of figures. The demand by modellers to have accurate scale 1/144 to enhance their dioramas, and more interesting for the whole 3D printing experience Shapeways are trailing a new "ultra fine" print medium. This has led CGD to design some figures that look like figures and not just a collection of lumps and bumps!

You will get 10 figures in an assortment of poses, designed to be used around an "armour maintenance depot", interestingly these come with detachable foot places so you can have your figure supported on its own base, or detached the figure can be attached to diorama directly (remember to paint them first!)

Note: This material provided by Shapeways makes they figure more like Resin than Plastic, and may need care when handling.

A new release by Panzer Depot, one that alread seems to be exciting some out there!?

should be interesting for Wargamers and collectors not wanting pay big ebay prices for those Fairy Kikkau Kits? Wargammers will get the best fun with this fiting the "Winter War" between Finland and the Sovier Union!

I am not a big fan of Soviet Tanks, but I do have a liking for these early 'land ship' tanks with multiple turrets!

1/144 A-39 Tortoise Assualt Tank WWII - CGD

1:144 CGD WWII British A-39 Tortoise Super Assault Tank

The British A-39 Tortoise Super Assault Tank started developement in 1943, and was developed to counter heavy fortifications such as the Siegfried Line.

Weighing in at 78 tons, it carried the british Ordance QF 32 pdr (96mm) derived from the QF 3.7 AA gun.
Although more like an assault gun or self propelled gun, its gun was tested effective knocking out a Panther tank at almost 1000 yds.

Near the end of the war 6 prototype was built and one is preserved at the Bovington Tank Museum in Bovington, UK.

An interesting addition to the collection, and something to face up to all those Panzer'46 kits!
