-Daimler-Benz Project F is a manned ground missile planned at the end of WW.II.
-The aircraft was suspended under the wing of a large bomber and was designed under the plan of taking off from the air, leaving the hatch below the cockpit just before the pilot maneuvers and guides and lands on the target after taking off from the air.
-However, considering speed etc., it is thought that it was extremely difficult to escape in practice.

-When completed, the overall length will be approximately 89 mm and the overall width approximately 62 mm.

-The canopy is made of clear injection and comes with 4 different decals.

Horten XVIIIB-2 (1945) German Luft '46 "Project Amerika" International Bomber Concept

The XVIIIB-2 was the last of the Horten Brothers' "Project Amerika" flying wing bomber designs submitted in response to the Luftwaffe's late-war attempt to build an intercontinental bomber that could strike the U.S. mainland from Europe.

Purportedly developed in part with Messerschmitt and Junkers engineers, the bomber resembled the Lippisch DM-1 in that it featured a huge tail with the cockpit contained within it. The plane would have been powered by six BMW 003 turbojets contained within casings below its wings. Defensive machine guns were also placed within its nose and rear fuselage.

In 1944, Reichsmarschall Goring instructed the Messerschmitt and Junkers to design and produce very long-range bombers which would be capable of carrying a 4,000 kg bomb load, at high speeds and over extreme distances, to mount strategic air strikes against the US and USSR. After test-fly the Junkers Ju.287 forward-swept wings design, the RLM declared the forward-swept wing to be the ideal configuration for a high speed bomber. Parallel to the Mersserschmitt and Junkers works, the BMW designers also began to develop forward-swept wing bomber project. The Schnellbomber Project II was powered by two BMW 109-028 turboprop engines, each with shaft output of 6,570 hp and additional residual thrust. The engines were mounted on two sponsons above the fuselage. This arrangement being chosen to keep the exhaust gases well away from the tail control surface. In March 1945, all further development work on long-range bomber projects were creased by order of the RLM.

Its low profile is due to its "prone" pilot position employed in some of the earlier Horton Trials and even the later Meteor F8 Prone Flight Tests.

Another issue from Kampfflieger that has piqued my interest. This time an US experimental item that looks like it would be equally at home in Crimson Skies, or a Flash Gordon movie as on a USAF'46 flightline roster!

 Clearly, its based upon the experimental Curtis P-55 Ascender developed in 1943, which is a fun little aircraft in its own right. Only now taken further this little "What If" project coudl quite easily have made it into the skies over Europe to do battle with the staffels of Luft'46 project (or even the iconic Me-262), of the J7W2 Shinden-Kai over the Japanese Home Islands?

Anigrand next 1/144 release is another German Luftwaffe Paper project that is somewhat obscure compared to the normal topics, part of me suggests that the bonus items could be a range of asymmetrical aircraft but to fair at this stage it could be anything!

It is available in the following materials "White Strong & Flexible" and "Fine Ultra Detail" (recommended an shown here). Nice little kist with just enough detail, and with a bit of polish and 'Future or Klear' on the canopy should shape up nice!
