An interesting conversion of the F-Toys "Osprey" kit, into an "attack version"!
it is based upon a prototype model displayed at the "Paris Airshow" during the '80s!!
Most of the additions to the kit are hand crafted, with some additional parts taken from the HELLER A-10 Kit.

Following WW2, USAF B-29s were soon to be in action again. On June 25, 1950, the armed forces of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) invaded South Korea. On June 27, the UN Security Council voted to assist the South Koreans in resisting the invasion.
President Harry Truman authorized General Douglas MacArthur (commander of the US occupying forces in Japan) to commit units to the battle. MacArthur ordered General George E. Stratemeyer, CIC of the Far Eastern Air Force (FEAF) to attack attacking North Korean forces between the front lines and the 38th parallel.

In this months Scale Aircraft ~Modeling International thre was an interesting feature regarding a new range of Decals by DACO.
There are supposed to be 5 sheets of decals ranging from Kriegsmarine, Squadron Logos and much more!
It was intersting to speculate in the artical there could be a new F-104 kit from Revell Germany, why is this? DACO design decals for Revell, it apparently has been known for DACO to release decals to coincide with new product releases!!
I think it is comparing the new F-Toys Wing Kit Collection Vol.1
with some of the other series that have featured the same items!
