1/144 Vickers Valiant MK.I - Mikro-Mir

1/144 Vickers Valiant MK.I - Mikro-Mir

Having previously provided a 1/144 Project 865 Piranha Soviet Prototype Submarine and a 1/144 YAK UT-1 (pack of 3), Mikro-Mir look set to produce another classic V-bomber. If this kits follows the trend of thier other items it should largely be a resin based kit with possobily some photo etching, previous decals have not been that great (so let see if these improve on them).

1/144 Vickers Valiant B Mk.I - Amercom

1/144 Vickers Valiant B Mk.I - Amercom
Well now, you wait for years dreaming of the V-Bomber fleet and then they come flying at you from all angles.......

First of the V-Bombers to drop bombs in anger, first of the v-bombers to drop an atomic bomb (testing) and subsequently the first operation in flight refueling tankers...

And if you wish to recreated a classic cold war image of a V-Bomber Force airfield surrounded by Bloodhound SAMs (you will make Matti's day!)
http://www.shapeways.com/model/619125/1-144-bloodhound-with-launcher.html

In case you need reminding of the history of this fine looking aircraft:

The sole surviving example can be found here at RAF Cosford (somewhere I have photos!)

It's not on the main Amercom Website yet, but it should show here soon:

1/144 Vulcan B.2 'Black Buck' - Pit Road

1/144 Vulcan B.2 - Pit Road
Not content with releasing the excellent TSR.2 kit, Pit Road are paying further homage to the British Cold War Warriors. The Vulcan B.2 is getting the Pit-Road treatment, so clear your desk of that Anigrand resin and book a place in the build line for the Pit Road injection Kit....
http://pitroad.s232.xrea.com/newitem/index.php?itemid=2082

Ok, so that not strictly true, this kit is configured for the 1982 "Black Buck' Falklands raids by the British Vulcan(s) (there was a spare) supported by the Victor Tanker Fleet, this late model will be provided by all new tooling, and will feature ECM pods and 'Shrike' anti-radar missiles.
