1/144 North American T-6G Texan (Double Set) by Valom

1/144  North American T-6G Texan (Double Set) by Valom

A new 1/144 double set from Valom, this time you get two shiney new kits of the T-G Texan and decals for 4x versions from France,Germany, Israel and the USA.

The mold is based on the same master pattern as Miniwing's old resin Texan, so this should provide a cheaper alternative to the original resin kit and contributes to it straightforward no nonsense approach. the exterior is clean and well defined. The decals are professionally printed and have good colour and should go on easy enough. The interior would benefit from some additional detailing, but this is a small aircraft, so once everything is in place and painted up, especially the canopy - it may be less of an issues.

An unexpected release, with some interesting items....

The trainers should be of interest to many given how many operators and in the case of the T-6 the span of service. I'd recommend you act fast and get some spares for repaints upon their release!?

- North American T-6 Texan
- Mitsubishi MU-2S

Release Due: August 2014
