イギリス初の実用ジェット戦闘機として有名なミーティア。機体設計自体はそれほど斬新なものではなく、高性能とは言えない機体ではありましたが、多くの改良型のバリエーションが造られた結果、信頼性において高い評価を受けることとなりました。ミーティアF.8は後期型で、与圧コクピット、バブル型キャノピー胴体後部の延長など前期型とは大きく変化しています。食玩にて初期型のミーティアはかつて発売されておりましたので、今回は後期型を制作いたしました。バブルキャノピー化や胴体延長がなされているため、初期型よりも精悍なイメージとなっています。翼下には燃料タンクかロケット弾８発を選択して装備させることができます。また、今回のスペシャルギミックとしてエンジン上部の外板を別パーツとし、内部のエンジンを再現してみました。
