The forum is back up and running. However, I understand some members are still having issues with accessing the site and are obtaining #500 errors.
The forum and Cloudflare isn't blocking individuals as a rule, it will challenge people who it thinks maybe a risk. I don't 100% know how this works as its down to Cloudflare's "magic sauce"...
- Certain countries which have a history of hosting spam/bot agents are also not blocked, but will be presented with a "challenge dialogue".
- Some users have reported issues with the "Firefox Browser" and/or Mobile vs PC access, where they can access via one device and not another.
Some browser / caching issues can be addressed by
- Pressing "Ctrl + F5" keys, which performs a hard refresh in most web browsers (such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Opera), which forces the browser to bypass its local cache and re-download all page elements (like images, scripts, and CSS files) directly from the web server.
other options are:
- Windows / Linux (Chrome, Edge, Firefox):
Ctrl + F5orCtrl + Shift + R - Mac (Chrome, Firefox):
Cmd + Shift + R - Mac (Safari): Hold
Shiftand click the Reload button, or empty the cache from the Safari menu. - Chromebook: Pressing
Ctrl + F5takes a full-screen screenshot instead of refreshing
Anyone with issues, please note the following - so that i can keep track of issues:
- http codes/messages
- do you see a Cloudflare page, a SiteGround page or a phpBB page when the 500 appears?
- any references, IDs or hash values
- operating system,
- browser(s) do you use
- can you access or are you blocked on mobile, desktop or both?
- what country are you in
- Are you using a VPN?
- mobile carrier or network provider?

Hi, BD. I ve Tried refreshing the page, connecting using Firefox and Chrome with VPN active and non active: no way. 500 Internal Server Error... A few minutes ago I've tried using Microsoft Edge and -look!- the page opened on the new site. Then, I've to log in (my VPN was off by the way) and I got the usual 500 Internal Server Error. Now I'm unable to get to the site via Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Chrome. Dario 'moresby'
This is moresby again. The new page keeps blocking me. I've tried to clear history, to refresh, to access with VPN on and off, from Firefox, Chrome and Samsung briwsers. I've recently bought a new tablet and tried with it.
Results: Attempts from my home pc go straight to 500 error and the site stays not accessible. Tablet and smartphone: I can browse the site unless I try to log in.
BD, please help! Feel free to contact me through the mail address registered on the site.
thank you in advance. Dario
