1/144 Antonov An-22 "Cock" - A&A Models
Not a "rebox" of the Eastern Express, but "enhanced kit" - Improved the molds, added new spruces (details) and new decals
The Antonov An-22 "Antei" (Ukrainian: Ан-22 Антей,[1] An-22 Antej; English Antheus) (NATO reporting name "Cock") is a heavy military transport aircraft designed by the Antonov Design Bureau in the Soviet Union. Powered by four turboprop engines each driving a pair of contra-rotating propellers, the design was the first Soviet wide-body aircraft and remains the world's largest turboprop-powered aircraft to date. The An-22 first appeared publicly outside the Soviet Union at the 1965 Paris Air Show. Since then, the model has seen extensive use in major military and humanitarian airlifts for the Soviet Union.

I am building as we write. All the fuselage parts were bowed-but i just glued one end and worked back over a few days. I think it will end up well and look good. Think of it as a short run or maybe Monogram style kit.Not for your first ever kit.
I would actually recommended it - but it's going to be a process. Probably enjoying it
if i think about it.
