1-144 F-Toys Wing Kit Collection Vol.8

1-144 F-Toys Wing Kit Collection Vol.8 (update)

Obviously, I like the FW-190, although not a great photo the paint schemes sadly look a little familiar from Takrara & Bandai? The P-51B could be the wild card here as there is a great looking RAF P-51B (Mustang III) and, meh! - Every Zero looks the same to me :)

FW-190 D-9  - is that a JV44 FW-190 (again)?
P-51B
Zero Type 52

I expect bonus colours and series specials, you know the formula by know!

Must agree there. Better versions of these are already available. Certainly holding out for an A5M one day!

Agreed. I have a contact at F Toys and passed on my wish list (about 100 items) to him. His boss seemed very interested in what I thought, I recommend that we all send our wish lists to them. I only included items that hadn't already been done or weren't already available in kit form.

Great idea, hope it brings some success. A few extras would be I-16, I-153, Hawk III & 75, Defiant, MiG3, Whirlwind and D-500/510.

A boxset with Korean War Skynights(Korea,Vietnam/Navy/Marines)paintings),F-84G(straight wing),F-80 Shooting star(not the T-33 ,but maybe a F-94B)

Another good choice is european jets Vampire/Venon(Suez) or Sea Vixen and Saab Viggen..Vantour,Mirage IIIE/Super Etandart,Harrier Gr3/Sea Harrier(a good one better than old Crown kit),

In WW2 Tempest,Claude,Gustav,D520,Mig-3(I like so much that one with winter painting and red lightining),La-5/7, hawk 75(french colors and finland),IL-16,brewster Buffalo(usnavy/finland)
T-37,T-38,T-2 buckeye,Mb-326,Gnat,T-28 trojan...yak-130,T-50
So many good things to be released..

Must agree there, but actually I thould that the F-toys may consideration of market sales, as some aircraft may can't be accept by Japanese market(such as most Russian aircraft), then the probability will be low, through I also sand some ideas before(http://ppt.cc/ktsx), only we can hope that the future will not too far.:D

Guys, don't tell each other, tell F-Toys. They are very receptive to our ideas.

Good idea. Do you have any contact details for FT?

John Haverstock said...

The only email I have is for an individual that works there. If you go to the F-toys website you should be able to nail down a contact link. I will also ask my "inside man" to whom he thinks wish lists should be sent.

I am new here, but I would like to put in my two cents about helicopters (yes, I know it is NOT the Wing Kit Collection).

They had the old UH-1C, but I miss:
UH-1N/Bell 212, or UH-1H
Puma
NH90
Tiger (any version)
Mi-28

Most of those are already available in either kit or trading plane form.

Revell-Nh-90(prototype)maybe someone could make new resin nose
Revell Puma(Sa330)
Super Puma -ftoys have one
Mi-28 DML
Uh-1N Fujimi have one old kit, for UH-1H now Gmix have one (but expensive)
Tiger..not released yet.
Sugestion for F-toys helos:
Maybe we could have SH-34(Japan used builded by Mitsubishi,we could have Vietnam versions..)
MH-53 E Sea dragon 3 engined (revell is Ch-53C twin engine) Japan uses a version of Sea Dragon called S-80M
Mi-8(this is very wanted with several versions possible)
Bell 206 or Oh-58D (the old fujimi kit was not released again as they did with Bell 212 and Lynx)
Kaman Seasprite or Ecureill also are very nice design helos

Hmmm, if you put it that way... the only things I have NOT seen around in 1/144 are CH-34, SH-2, OH-58, Tiger, Ecureill and Mi-8.

But since F-Toys has also released items you can find in Revell, DML and others (Apache, CH-47, K-50...) I supposed they were OK.

I have not seen the Tomytec UH-1H yet (just purchased, awaiting eagerly...), but honestly, calling the Fujimi UH-1N a kit... it is like the prototype of a prototype (damn, it has no windshield!)

Additionally, seeing the Ka-25, Ka-27, etc. series I have seen in resine in F-Toys would be nice also.

The reason I choose the MH-53E and Sh-34 is Japan used both.. and so internal market will be satisfied.
The MH-53E is very diferent of Ch-53C released by Revell(the 3 engines, angled tail, and more main blade, big landing gear carenage struts)
I had asked why not a Ch-46..and they did... and that is good...to bad we don´t have more decal for US versions(Vietnam marines green, marines low vis grey, sand,or even that camo with green/grey/black or very dark gray.

The Heliborne Series 1 had only two local SH-3 among about 12 pieces; Series 2 about 7 among 12; Series 3 about 7 among 12; and Series 4 about 5 among 10 (I am not being very exact with secret items, special editions and so on).

So if local color is needed to satisfy the local market, a good mix would be SH-34, MH-53, OH-58 and Tiger. I am sure about 40-50% of the items can be in local colors...

You can can have japanese, Marines and Royal Navy versions for the SH-34; japanese and US Navy versions for the MH-53; US Army versions for the OH-58 and two or three euro versions of the Tiger.

I am considering that F-Toys uses the models generously (i.e., if they use the japanese EH101 as Merlin HC3, you can take more licenses, uh?)

Hallo bluedonkey99, danke fuer Deine Ermunterung!
Gruesse, Peter

Peter,
I think we cross wires.
I think that MYK decals would be too expensive for F-Toys.
I think that more decal producers should explore for upgrades?
I am glad you continue to seek new items
