some excellent models, ok the story is complete fantasy,
but some excellent P51s!

I watched the video...that was great...Why a CG studio don´t make a film with all CG (no humans actors)theme like Ploesti attack or the bombers in Europe...(since is impossible to make 1.000 planes flying in real world..there was a japanese guy who made some very nice airplanes short films with a Spitfire and mosquitos but I lost the address
We saw a Sci fi ( Final Fantasy)and looked so nice...and we all remember the old Heavy Metal(the B-17 scenes)
i remember the CG you mention, but also no longer have the link.

it did strike me watching this, that it would be possible t use this level of CG to make a film.

I recently saw a History channel programme where they restored a Panther lsot in the war.

It included some CG scenes that were virtually photo relalistic!

you could certanly have made most of not all of a decent WWII movie with tht level of quality
