Is it Me262 from Eduard enough?

These better be incredible improvements over what Eduard put out a couple of years ago, or they'll sit on shelves for a long time. Even if the F-Toys release wasn't that bad to require Trumpeter to step in. Is there really that much demand for yet another 262? Oh wait...Sweet just put out another Zero kit. I doubt even die-hard Japanese WW2 collectors were in need of yet another Zero, but Sweet came to their calling with another set.

If what manufacturers put out was indicative of what was used during WW2, they'd have us believe it was almost entirely fought over with Zeros and 262's, with a handful of Hurricanes, Wildcats, and Mustangs.

And yet, people are negative on F-Toys for having the audacity to put out something other than a Spitty, by releasing a Bearcat and an Aichi floatplane. Give it a rest Trumpeter!

It could be better if they continue the line of Soviet bombers..doing in 1/144 the IL-28 Beagle.. (like they did with the 1/72 ..Tu-95,tu-160,tu-16)
And why not Soviet Su-27 and Su-24s?

And Su-15 , Fw-200 Condor,F-100,Wellington..they could reduce the 1/72 to 1/144...

Yeah, lots of others, but in Trumpeters defense, they announced the Me262 before Eduard, probably had already spent the dollars on a master, so are going ahead anyway. If they do a "good Trumpeter", it will probably be heaps better than the Eduard kits which to be honest are only so-so. If it's another ham-fisted urk like their Su-34 or Sabre then we can happily ignore it.

And I'm still PO'd at F-Toy :-)

That makes the 2 of us, anon. At least Trumpeter does not pretend to to make gashapon toys when they're supposed to be kits.

Personally, I like the ME 262A so I'd say, bring it on! Maybe Trumpeter will bring us a nice late mark Spitfire someday...

What's crazy is that I'll probably pick up a couple of these just out of curiosity and for the decals. If they are actually better than the Bandai, Takara, Eduard, and F-Toys releases, I'll pick up a few more and build the Galland Circuis out of these instead of the Eduard kits. Still, an entire shelf of 262s is a bit much.

That's not crazy. Had the same idea myself, along with the Parrot Squadron's Doras it would be awesome!
