1/144 Sopwith Triplane - Kampfflieger
1/144 Sopwith Triplane - Kampfflieger
A interesting, but short run and short lived aircraft largely seeing service with the RNAS (Royal Naval Air Service) in 1917, approx 147 were built (compated to the 5,400 Sopwith Camels produced), A note of merit would be the Canadian pilot Raymond Collishaw, scoring 34 of his eventual 60 victories in this aircraft, making him the top Triplane ace.

Dont order this. It doesn't work, then Shape bloody ways cancel your order and you have to try and get your money back off them. Eeeerk!
Not my experience - I ordered a pair, and they arrived in Australia a week later.
Very impressed with the delicacy of the model - Robust and as detailed as some 1/72 kits.
Highly recommended. I've ordered some decals from Riviresco to go with them.
