1/144 scale JUNKERS EF-132 Bonus Kits - Anigrand

http://www.anigrand.com/AA4045_EF-132.htm

Left to Right (updated 2010/01/27)

1 - Lippish P.12 'Entwuf II'
2 - Messerschmitt P.1106
3 -
Focke-Wulf P.0310.2510-1006
4 - Heinkel "Wespe"

Doing a bit better on spotting these ones!

The second from left is a little tricky, due its generic shape it looks like a close match to a number of aircraft. The trick with this one is the high/wide shoulders on those stubby wings!?

1/144 WW II German U-Boote Type VII Metal Torpedo/Periscope/2cm+8.8cm Barrel)

It is not often we get to cover 1/144 Naval products on this blog, this would appear to mainly be the issue of a smaller suppy of 1/144 Naval kits being produced.

Obviously, Revells 1/144 U-boats are a big player in this area - so if Revell U-Boats are your thing then I would hazard a guess these will make your day!

There are Photo Etched kits and Photed Etched Kits! I am no expert on the details of a Type VII U-Boat, howver there appears to enough parts in these set to keep even the most fanatical 'rivet counter' happy ?

Be warned that I have 'mixed and matched' the photos for the Type "C" and Type "D", the kits are not the same and you should take care to order the correct set!!

I think this is the nearest in plastic you can get to the smell of salt and a recreating the atmosphere of the classic mini series "Das Boot"!? (I still get nervous near water!)

1/144 Fw-190 (Series 2) by Aviation Model

Aviation Model of Hong Kong have published the intention to produce another series of Fw-190's
They follow pretty much the same formula before, so if you liked those you will love these!

I think it would be nice if they could vary the paint schemes or Jagdgeschwader to add some variety?

Where are the elusive Ju-88 + Ju88 mistel?

1/144 'Mistel' Ta 154 / Fw 190A Pulkzerstörer - By Roberto

A late arrival at the Aerodrome tonight...

1/144 'Mistel' Ta 154 / Fw 190A Pulkzerstörer - By Roberto

Roberto has completed an interesting combination of a Takara Fw-190 + Ta-154 to provide the composite parts. Another good job well done on the painting and even the interiors have been decorated.

Its not clear as to wether this configuration got anywhere beyond the Drawing board (or napkin), different sites give different views regarding Design, Build and Flight - the conservative would say it is a paper based combination only....?

If only Amodel would hurry up and produce the Ju-88 Mistel, then you would see something really special coming out for Roberto Workshop!

1/144 F-Toys Eurofighter - Photos by Mehusla

Mehusla has sent some interesting photos of the the recent Eurofighter Series.

Here for your perusal is the RSAF Eurofighter and the Italian Tornado (special colour)

I know a few people have had their doubts over this line up, but people are warming to them.
The fittings and tolerance of the casting is tight, so there should be few loose or wobbly bits!

The wing fittings on the Tornado are such that they allow free movment of the 'swing wing' or 'variable geometry' there is also sufficient gap to ensure that the act of moving the wings does not scrape the paint, as has been encountered on some previous Cafe Reo/F-Toys series.

If you like the pictures from Mehusla more can be seen at the "Battle Anthems Gallery" > Here<> Here < at "144 Direct"

1/144 Fw-190C-0 V18/U1 - Miniwing.Cz

1/144 Fw-190C-0 V18/U1 "Kanguruh" - Miniwing.Cz

Another FE-Resin reissue from Miniwing, whilst not a new kit, it is from a new mould!

It is another kit that should have lutwaffe fans interested, this is a real flier not "Luft 46".

It is i think a Fw190c modified as to be a prototype for a High Altitude Interceptor....,
As such, it was esentially superceeded by the Fw-190 D-9 and never went into production/

It would appear that the "Kangaroo" knickname was a reference to the Supercharger input for the DB603 engine on this airframe.

1/144 JASDF F-15DJ 'Aggressors 2010' - 1/144 JASDF Can.do(Doyusha) F-15DJ 'Aggressors 2010' (update)

Well what can i say!?

Although these look like early prototype models, the paint schemes look a lot like the Tarkara series, and just not as nice?

Judging by the comments on the 8-Bee blog the special isnt that special, and the price is inching up!?

Price: 600 Yen (each item)
Available: 2010/02

Ok, these are 3x the price of the Doyusha, but on current information these look nice moulds, paint and have "lights"

1/144 M13 / 40 Carro Armato Italian Tank - Panzer Depot

1/144 M13 / 40 Carro Armato Italian by Panzer Depot

New production, 2x Colour Options.

Apparently quite a long lived little number this, over 700 built and still in existance in 1963 in Iraq (and used by "You know who, to Seize Power")

Obvioulsy in its WWII timeline, it mainly figured in the North Africa Campaigns. - it must be said that history was not really kind to this little (sorry, medium) tank.

Those interested in the
Beda Fomm episode may be interested to note that the Ambush Blitz War game rules (optimised for 1/144 and compatible) has just published a Beda Fomm campaign update for this scenario! see 1/144 Ambush Blitz yahoo Forum

Italian tanks are a much overlooked subject that even in larger scales has to be a fairly niche product area.
