Some nice stuff here but most which has been reported previously (e.g. the new F-Toys' series - plural - and the Revell Globemaster III). Though what on earth is that hybrid of Kyushu Shinden with something remotely Gundam?
I note elsewhere that Anigrand continue to pump out the 1/144 giants, with a Douglas C-124A/C-124C Globemaster II, Consolidated PB2Y-5/R Coronado and Focke-Wulf Fw261 to follow the recently released Daimler Projekt A and Antonov An-22 Antei.
As I've said in the past, the only problem with these and the Bv222/Me261/Ju290/etc. from Altaya is their size from a storage/display point of view. I was getting away with Bf109s, Stukas, even the occasional G4M Betty. Following the appearance of aircraft like the B-29, Ju290 and Martin Mariner on my shelves, the Other Half can actually see my collection has grown and the searching questions have begun! :-(
The hybrid Shinden/Gundam, as you noted, is a Sky Crawler Sanka Mark B. Very cool books and a nice anime film, almost on the same lines of the old PC game Crimson Skies. There are other fictional craft in the movie/books, that would make for very nice kits, with very nice pricetags I might add. Platz is releasing the MkB, for 2800yen! That's for a single kit, but it's a beauty.
the 1/72 Scale kit actually has the parts for 2x complete aircaft! . http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10075551z3/70/3 . what i find odd is that the 1/148, 1/72 an 1/144 kits appear to be all the same price!!!?

Oh, the movie is called "The Sky Crawlers", released a couple of months ago in Japan.
