1/144 Bristol Beaufighter - Peters Planes "Gold Series"
Peter has continued to work on the Beaufighter, and it inches ever closer to release.
The product master still shows its excellent detialing and quality.
It will be released intially with decals for 9x Aircraft from 5x Country Varients, RAF(UK),RAAF(Australia),USA, Portugal and (The Dominican Republic !?)
I think you will have the Beaufighter 'X' or Beaufighter 'TFX' nose options and it will come with a Torpedo! Underwing rockets will also be proivded on the final version.
Check Peterplanes.com for further updates.

The 5th nation's markings are for the Dominican Republic.
thanks
Apart from the fact they are nice looking decals for the DR, it seemed an odd choice of nationalities!?
I would agree. Dominican Republic only had 10 of them in 1948 and they were not really involved in the Caribbean Legion invasion of 1949 in the Dominican Republic.
Actually, Dominican Republic markings for a P-51D for the Dominican Republic Intervention in 1965 would actually be a more interesting for anything for an aircraft for the Dominican Republic.

Hi,
The decals are an attempt to be different from the usual RAF or RAAF ones!:-)
They can individually be chosen for A$2 or the whole sheet for A$10.
There are some other choices being worked on as well.
Rockets ARE available with the plane when released.

Peter, don't get me wrong, I like the fact the you did do something other than RAF as well. But Dominician Republic did not really used them for any real length of time or in action. That is why I think that it is an odd choice. But I do like the fact that you are did a Latin American nation! 8)

I know this is old but be aware that the Beaufighter's decals now number 30! NO, they won't all be released together but I will probably give people a choice of decals when they order.
regards
Peter
